Okay, I have a few belly shots for everyone... I feel like I am huge already but I am also very self conscious.. lol

Pre-pregnancy

We're having a baby!

You heard that right... I'm pregnant. = ) I am currently 12 weeks along and the due date as of now is may 25, 2010. I have already had one dr appt and I am scheduled to go again next week. At my first appt, I mostly just talked with my midwife about symptoms, what to expect, etc. I got some blood work done and all that stuff. This upcoming appt should be quite a bit more fun. I will get poked and prodded at, but the at least progress will be made towards checking to make sure everything is as it should be. And we will get to hear the heartbeat! yay!!! I guess I should say that I will get to hear the heartbeat; Kenny will be in class. = ( I will be able to have an ultrasound at about 20 weeks (around new years) and that is when we will be able to find out what gender the baby is! If woman's intuition is right, it's a girl. But we will just have to wait and see. 

I will start posting belly pictures soon. I had taken one as soon as I found out I was pregnant to have as a starting point for comparison, but that picture is lost since our lab Symone chewed up my memory card. = ( I will have to search to find another picture for the starting point and then start taking pictures every few weeks. The belly is already starting to take shape... someone tonight actually guessed that I was pregnant without having any way to know other than looking at me. It was kind of weird, but kind of cool. She assured me it wasn't because I looked big but because of the shape. = )
